Tune in on January 21 at 8pm ET to see Irwin's last documentary, Ocean's Deadliest, followed by a thirty minute tribute to the late "Crocodile Hunter."

Steve Irwin had a talent for connecting with his viewers--especially children. His enthusiasm for his work as a conservationist was infectious, reaching and inspiring people of all ages. His last project, Ocean’s Deadliest, focuses on the dangerous creatures that can be found in the ocean off the coast of eastern Australia. Irwin teamed up with Philippe Cousteau, the grandson of the famous oceanographer to film the documentary. In an unexpected twist of fate, Irwin was killed during filming in September of 06 when he was stabbed in the heart by the barb of a stingray while swimming. “The Crocodile Hunter” left behind his wife, Terrie, and two young children, Bindi and Robert.

His legacy will live on through Wildlife Warriors, a non-profit organization founded by Steve and Terrie Irwin in 2002. In addition, the show that started it all, The Crocodile Hunter, continues to be shown weeknights on Animal Planet at 6pm ET. Steve was working on a new project before he died; Bindi, The Jungle Girl, a show starring his daughter, was set to debut in January of 2007 but has been put on hold for the time being.

Irwin’s last documentary, Ocean’s Deadliest, will feature great white sharks, sea snakes, and, as one might expect, a large crocodile. Tune in on Sunday, January 21st at 8pm for the ninety minute documentary about deadly ocean creatures and at 9:30 ET for an intimate look at the late Steve Irwin. Both programs will be broadcast simultaneously on Animal Planet and The Discovery Channel.
